Puri, is the famous place of Lord Jagannath. Lord Jagannath is one of the four holiest pilgrim centres of Char Dhams regarded by Hindus. Adi Shankaracharya, the 8th century sage and religious reforms established the Gobardhan matha here. Puri is also known for ratha yatra and its excellent beach.
